Install Tim's Show Widget on Your Site!

Do You have a website, homepage, or blog? If you do, you can install Tim's show on your own web page, complete with audio and show notes. Then you can discuss and blog about the show on your own site. We offer links to both the latest broadcast and to the broadcasts for specific dates. The installation is simple, and only uses a short section of HTML code that is copied to your page. Use the Wordpress editor or other HTML editor for easy editing of your site.

To include Tim's show, just copy the HTML text in red to your website. There are two versions:
  • Link to the Most Recent Show
  • Link to a Specific Broadcast

This link will update on a weekly basis. Usually a show broadcast on Saturday will be posted by the following Wednesday.

Link to a Specific Broadcast

Lord willing, we will try to make each broadcast available as a specific download, categorized by date. Since there are forty years worth of recordings this may take awhile! We will start by providing links to new shows as they are put online, and "catch up" with old shows later.

As an example, if you would like to post the broadcast and summary notes for the the show on 10/29/11, then copy the text in red below to your own web page. The main difference between links to the current show and a specific archived show is the date in the file name, and the pointer to the "archive" directory. The easiest way to link is to go to the Main Archive Page and click on the "Link" field for the show in question.

Style Sheets and Classes

Some of the text for the show widget is associated with particular "class" variables. This allows you to hide various aspects like the text summary, and change colors and fonts to match your own home page.

jtlv_showdate Sets Style for "Date" Line of Text in Notes
jtlv_showguests Sets Style for "Guests" Line of Text in Notes
jtlv_showtopics Sets Style for "Topics" Line of Text in Notes
jtlv_showlinks Sets Style for "Links" Line of Text in Notes
jtlv_showsummary Sets Style for the Summary Text in Notes
